• Ask questions — local guides are glad to share knowledge.
• Take part when invited into a local custom.
• If you wish to give, ask us how to do it responsibly; sweets or cash to individuals can cause harm.
• Buy from local, small, or community-owned businesses, especially those tied to nature or culture.
• Be cautious buying from children — you may unintentionally support exploitation.
• Refuse souvenirs, food, or drinks that harm people, wildlife, or the environment, especially illegal goods.
• Honor local tipping and trading customs and pay fair prices.
